Life Alerting Encounters with Music

To this day, when I hear this song I can feel my heart magnetically pull me to a different place in time.  

I was 22 years old in Elizabethtown, KY sobbing in bed one morning as I listened to lyrics that led me to an encounter with truth.  The truth that I was growing out of the destructive relationship I was in with my then-boyfriend, and the one I was in with myself.

This is now a song of remembrance for me...of my little girl heart.
