Sicilia!

We are road tripping tomorrow morning (5 hours)  to Venice, staying overnight, and then leaving the next afternoon for a flight to Sicily.  Lots of good things will be happening.  Among them:

Sunbathing under the mountains on a sandy beach for lovers.
Eating delicioux spicy Italian pastas and seafood.
Wine tasting at Sicilian vineyards (Nero d'Avola).
Horseback riding on the beach on my Birthday.  Maybe, just maybe....
Celebrating (in my heart) God's goodness to me over the past 30 years.
A haircut. Italians have superior style, and I am in need of a fresh cut.
Visiting one of Sicily's markets featuring the singing farmers trying to sell their produce, fish and other items.
Oh, and if we get free time in Venice it would be romantic to take a gondola cruise in the evening with a bottle of bubbly and my husband nestled in closely beside me.
