Top 10 Hometown Favorites

When I go back home to Cincinnati, this is what I do:
*Warning this may make you hungry

1.)  Crossroads - For free coffee and spiritual growth.  A place of immense creativity that has impacted and influence me in indescribable ways. Joe and I have tried to sum up the impact Crossroads has made on our lives - and all we can say is that we are different, much better people and we are incredibly grateful for the community and freedom we have found here. http://www.crossroads.net
2.)  Take the Cake (Northside) - Sunday brunch made of homemade biscuits, steak n eggs, and sausage biscuits and gravy.  Done the right way.  Need I say more?

3.)  Coffee Emporium - Best bold coffee in town.  Roasted and brewed onsite in OTR.

4.)  Green Papaya - If you are a Cincinnati friend of mine, you have probably eaten here with me.  You know exactly what I am going to order - the Green Papaya roll.  Sa Ta roll is second best.

5.)  Joseph Beth - Because quaint, charming bookstores are hard to find.  This is a beautiful place.  I breathe it in the way I breathe in Ault Park.   If you have tots, I recommend Blue Manatee in Oakley, the World's Most Adorable Children's Bookstore.

6.)  Chick Fil A - Don't judge.  Spicy chicken sandwich, split ice tea, and waffle fries!  It was our first stop after leaving the airport.  We love and honor you Chick Fil A.

7.)  Spice of Life tea - Found at Teavana (national chain).  This is my all-time favorite blend of tea ~ fragrant, nutty and delicious.  Go getcha some!

8.)  Piazza Discepoli's in Glendale - Do you need a great bottle of wine for $12?  Ask Steve.  He is a rare unpretentious wine enthusiast.  I recommend visiting the store for their Friday night wine tastings 5-8pm.

9.)  Graeter's Ice Cream - Coconut Chip or Strawberry Chip (seasonal).

10.)  Tostado's - When I need to get "karaoke night" out of my system, this is where I go.  They have great margaritas here as well, for cheap.

Am I missing out on something? What's your favorite hometown spot?
